Current transformer TOL-10-IApplication

The transformers are intended for transmitting measuring information signal to the measuring instruments and to protection and monitoring devices as well as for insulation of secondary connections circuits from high voltage factory-assembled switch-gears of inside and outside mounting of alternate current electric appliances for the voltage class up to 10 kV with 50 or 60 Hz frequency. The transformers for differential protection are delivered at the special order.

The transformers are produced in climatic versions "M" (moderate) and "T" (tropical) according to the standard requirements of GOST 15150 location category 2 and are intended for usage under the following operating conditions:

  • altitude above sea level is not higher than 1000 m;
  • ambient air temperature considering overheating inside switchgear is given in the table;
  • air humidity for location category 2 is not more than 100% at 25 °C for "M" version and at 35 °C for "T" version;
  • environment should be non-explosive, without corrosive steams in concentrations that are likely to destroy metal or insulation (atmosphere type II as to GOST 15150);
  • mounting in any position.

Transformers are supplied with protective transparent covers for separate sealing of secondary winding's tappings (example of sealing)

Current transformers TOL-10-I with variable ratios

This transformers have variable transformation ratios switchable at primary or secondary sides. They have 2 transformation ratios. They are produced with two windings and can have any accuracy class (0,2S; 0,2; 0,5S; 0,5).

Transformers TOL switchable at primary side have are coded as TOL-10-I-12 (secondary tappings are looking up) or TOL-10-I-13 (secondary tapping are looking down).

Transformers TOL switchable at secondary side are coded as TOL-10-I-14 or TOL-10-I-15 corresponding.
